To be able to collect player cards on the OVAL3 Marketplace you need to fund your wallet first.
OVAL3 offers several funding options for its users, including:
- Ramp (See « The Fastest way » section below)
- Torus (See « The Alternative way » section below)
- MetaMask (See « The Web3 way » section below)
- Your own Torus Wallet
- Wallet connect
The fastest way with Ramp:
The fastest way to fund your wallet is through Ramp, which can be completed in just a few minutes using dollars, euros, or pounds with your credit card for example.
Click here to see the full tutorial.
However, these services are not available in some Countries and US States (full list here). We recommend you then to use “The Alternative way with Torus”, or the “Web3 way with Metamask”.
The Alternative way with Torus:
If you’re registered with your email address (not with your own wallet), and you’re not able to fund your wallet with Ramp directly on OVAL3 because your Country (or State) is not covered, you can do it with Torus.
It’s another solution implemented on OVAL3 platform that allows you to top-up with many different providers (Moonpay, Banxa, Simplex, Transak…), and payment options (open banking, bank transfer, credit card etc) depending on your location.

The Web3 way with Metamask:
You can also create a Metamask wallet, fund it with MATIC, and connect your wallet to OVAL3. This process takes a bit longer but it’s accessible to everybody ant it will help you understand more about how blockchain technology works.

By the way, what is a wallet and why do I need one?
A digital currency wallet is an online account that acts similarly to a bank account, allowing you to interact with decentralized apps such as OVAL3. Since OVAL3 accepts MATIC, a digital currency on the Polygon blockchain, you will need a wallet that supports this currency to fund your OVAL3 account.
We highly recommend using the MetaMask browser extension as your wallet since it is the most reliable option currently available (as a plugin for Chrome or Firefox or directly in their app on mobile).
After setting up your wallet, be sure to write down your recovery key in a secure place, this recovery key is the only way to restore your wallet.
